PINKATHON

'Her Move, Her Moment' Campaign

aspectGlobal, in partnership with Humble Smile Foundation India, and executed by aspect Foundation, successfully empowered 50 underprivileged girls from urban and semi-urban Mumbai to participate in Pinkathon (Mumbai) 2025. The project promoted confidence, physical fitness, sports, and breast cancer awareness among adolescent girls (12–25 years) from low-income communities.

Key Highlights

  • 50 girls participated in the 5 km Pinkathon, sponsored with registrations, transportation, sports gear, and nutrition.
  • Training sessions conducted on Dec 6–7 and 13–14, with nutritious meals provided from Dec 1–21.
  • Expo Day (Dec 20): Foundation Girls interacted with Pinkathon founder Milind Soman and engaged at the Foundation Stall through quizzes and fun games.
  • Pinkathon Day (Dec 21): aspect Foundation ensured smooth event execution; girls completed the 5 km run and 3 of them won medals.
  • Outreach expanded through aspect Foundation's Expo stall, engaging attendees with games, fun activities, and freebies distribution.

Punjab Flood Relief

Community-Led Housing Reconstruction Initiative

Punjab recently witnessed one of the worst flood disasters in its recent history, with all 23 districts severely affected. The calamity impacted nearly 20 lakh people across 2,050 villages, displacing 3,87,898 individuals from their homes. The agricultural sector experienced unprecedented devastation — over 1.76 lakh hectares of farmland submerged.

Key Highlights

  • Initiators of Change mobilised support rapidly to construct 100–150 permanent (pakka) houses across three villages: Rurera Wal, Malikpur, and Dariya Mussa.
  • aspectFoundation pledged support for the construction of five permanent homes for flood-affected families.
  • Houses designed by a local consultant ensuring cultural alignment, climate resilience, and cost-effectiveness.
  • All construction carried out under community stakeholder supervision — ensuring transparency and local ownership.
  • Expected completion: mid-December 2025.

Impact

  • 97 homes fully destroyed and 363 partially damaged — the reconstruction addresses the most acute housing need.
  • Heavy crop loss across 1.76 lakh hectares of farmland underscores the need for long-term rehabilitation.
  • Initiative demonstrates scalable disaster response aligned with a community-first approach.

Supporting Transgender Welfare & Upliftment — Nagpur

aspectFoundation participated in the annual event of Mission Vishwa Mamatwa Foundation (MVMF) in Nagpur, an organisation dedicated to the welfare and upliftment of the transgender community. For the past five years, MVMF has worked tirelessly to create an inclusive environment where every individual, regardless of gender, is treated with dignity, equality, and respect.

  • MVMF provides health facilities, education, documentation assistance, skills training, and entrepreneurship capacity building.
  • The annual event honoured individuals who have overcome challenges and achieved success — a source of inspiration to others.
  • MVMF created Diwali gift hampers for Adani Company employees, featuring gift articles inspired by Lipan Art.
  • aspectFoundation's participation reinforced its commitment to inclusive initiatives.
